We focus a lot on music here on Free iTunes Music, but iTunes has a lot of free media including books and tv shows. Honestly, there's enough free stuff there to keep the frugal person entertained for ages.

Inside Out Girl by Tish Cohen is the iTunes Free Book of the Week. Cohen is better known for her children's books, but this for-adults novel focuses on the pursuit of of a perfectionist single mother. The Amazon reviews are incredibly positive (nearly 5 stars), so it seems like it's worth a download.
